Anybody ever use/can help me with this product?

I can get it handle a file created externally (sample text files, etc.) but cannot get it to create a new file (which it is supposed to do). It appears that the StartDoc/EndDoc commands don't work at all, so nothing else has any effect, but just guessing.

Any help would be appreciated.
