The problem I have here is that I routinely ZIP up the project and take it home, work on it there, then take it back to the office.
Any file that the conn string is in would be moved along with it. I would still have to do something to change the string for the PC I'm on at the time.

>It's not compiled or compiled in. For desktop apps all that happens when your compile your app. is that it copies it to MyAppName.exe.config. You can edit it as necessary.
