Talking about version 3.0? All I can say if that were to stop anyone they aren't much in the programming world. There are things going on that require consideration but the fact that 3.0 makes changes is minor.

Had you said that the supporting modules are an issue I might given your statement more credit. 3.0 has been out for only a month (and is not recommend for production work yet) and most of the major third party modules have been converted. It's only the small guys that have not done everything yet. However, most will run out of the box or minor changes.
