Depend how big is your root in VFP. I will have to skip one or more versions until things get even 'easier' then you portray them.
Perhaps new tools/frameworks emerging. Having big legacy in VFP apps, I am not in position to hump easily, but when the time is right, I will get wherever I decide to go ;)
