I admit his style is not mine and not always to my taste, but I think disliking his style and just dismissing everything he says is not helpful either (and I realize you aren't doing that were specifically addressing his style) I think those objecting to him the most were not so much offended by his style as they were that his style was not in the service of their articles of faith.
