if your form is messed up than there is little you can do about it. FoxPro does not make an automatich backup of all files, this facility is only availbale for .prg files which are backed-up with a .bak extension.
I now it is a little bit too late, but consider be4 you go on to buy and or read the '1001Things' etc about FoxPro. There is a routine in that book, which you can easily copy and activate, to make backup files of all files you can create in VisualFoxPro also .scx files. When you would have had that routine in your startup you could now benifit from an automatic backup.
I just presume you dont work with SourceControl or the like, else Marcia's solution is the best.
If that is not the case than I would advise you to stop teasing your brains but start immediately with a reconstruction.
