I have a biggish problem with this line of code:

report form aReport to printer prompt

When this line is in a program (on its own), the keyboard cannot access anything. If I TAB off and back on it is OK.

This line works OK in the command window.

I am using VFP 5.0

I have tried alternative methods, incuding:

SYS(1037)
GETPRINTER
APRINTER()

In fact the APRINTER was the preferred method until we discovered that Foxpro 2.6 converted reports did not go to the desired printer - they actually go to the default printer.

We now believe that the PRINTER PROMPT is the only way forward - however we cannot get the keyboard to work when used in a program.

I am using this in a large app to access the required printer choice from the operator. The report used is not relevant.

Any ideas?
