The ole code is stored in an .OCX file, normally in the windows system directory. You have to include the proper ocx files in your distribution set to have them properly installed on the target machine. There is a check box in the files list in the setup wizard that lets you specify that the file goes in the windows system dir. The setup program registers the ocx with the windows registery. In the past we had been able to install an application on one machine and copy the directory to other machines on the net. This became a questionable procedure under Win95 and will NOT work at all with winNT. You have to run setup.exe on each machine to properly register things like ole connections.
