the problem is TABLEUPDATE(.T.)

This will update the current record only, return True, but other records will be uncommitted.
IOW
SELECT Covr
IF CURSORGETPROP( 'Buffering' )>1 AND !TABLEUPDATE( .T. ,.T.)
	TABLEREVERT( .T. )
ENDIF
