Hi Terry,
If you believe that VFP9 generates an error on "perfectly sound piece of SQL" than you don't understand what is wrong with the query in question but something is. SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR 70 is nothing more than a temporary band aid or a kludge instead of long term solution.
