off subject.. if you have a built in mouse and use an external one... whenever you accidentally touch the internal one and move the other it does some funky stuff

>Pamela,
>I've seen something like this behaviour before...but it wasn't isolated to a grid. Are you by chance using a notebook computer?

>What happened with me was, I was on a notebook with a mouse plugged in the back. Sometimes the cursor would start going all over, changing locations and "clicking" when/where-ever it felt like.

>I had to stop using the mouse and exclusively use the built-in touch pad. If you're not on a notebook...maybe you mouse is dying and what you're seeing is it's leggs twitching. :-)

>>Can you copy the grid to a new empty form to test it? You sure there's no code anywhere else in the class tree of your objects that's doing this? Does it happen on more than one machine?
>>
>>>Not much help because while the cursor is daemonically cycling through the grid, the form is in a wait state and according to the Event Tracker, nothing is firing.
>>>
>>>>>You probably have some code somewhere that's doing SetFocus() or KEYBOARD commands to make something like this happen. Do you have method code that tries to locate the first tab object etc?
>>>
>>>In this form, the cursor movement for the grid and its container object are entirely determined by the user. There are no KEYBOARD commands and the only SetFocus() affects another container, but not this one.
