Sort of. I can type all this stuff in the command window and it works great. If I put the same lines of code in a prg and run it I get "Database or Object is read only" when I run the lnHandle = SQLSTRINGCONNECT( lcConnStr ) line. I verify Excel is not open anywhere else. I get out and run from the command line and it works like a champ.
