FTP location is also a place on disk. From VFP you cannot just copy via FTP - it's a whole protocol, you need a client, possibly ActiveX or some API calls (like http://www.news2news.com/vfp/?function=66, that would work). But if you are able to have a filesystem connection, by a local network, that would work. VFP "copy file" command uses filesystem. The syntax for a name of a file is then \\servername\sharename\path\more_path\filename.ext - see "share" in Windows help.
