>>>>>>>>>This awakens my curiosity. In these six years of France-bashing, nobody had the imagination to call them non-democratic because their presidential term is seven years. The guys have got a free pass for no good reason... except that they switched from 7 to 5 years in 2002. But then, I'm still amazed that nobody had the presence of mind to call 7 years of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing and 14 years of François Mitterand what they were - pure antidemocratic dictatorship.

>>>ha ha ha. very funny. :o) You are henceforth forbidden from entering the state to the north and visiting any cheese factories. :o) You are limited to Velveeta for life (not even sure what Velveeta is)

>>We aren't talking about the state to the north today, not after the Bears-Packers game yesterday. That was fugly, as the kids like to say now. (But I see the Panthers are 8-2....)

>North Carolina has a lot of cheese farms (not factories per se). The most common cheese is goats' milk cheese. It's a fresh spreadable chèvres available at numerous locations. We also (thanks to our large hispanic population) have those specializing in Mexican cheeses. We also have a lot of hoop cheese available at the farms and some of my other favorites are Chapel Hill Creamery's Hickory Grove cheese (a monastery-style (unpasteurized) cheese that has been flavored by pine needles), new moon fresh cheese from the same place, and this is my favorite place so far:
