The characterization is terrific, especially of the secondary characters. I really like Angel, Deb, and the Oriental forensics guy, who cracks me up. Even the initially unlikable characters like LaPuerta and Doakes are developed well. So anyway, thanks for the recommendation.

CBS version? I didn't even know there was one. It's on DVD and the Showtime logo and promo play at the beginning, so I assume it's the original version. Some of it sure wouldn't air on CBS.
