Heard that about cars as well - and duly oblige. Actually tried to wash the car once, but it shrank, couldn't close the doors...

Had an IT person at one of my users, long ago, who was extremely sloppy with her disk, but tried her best to be good looking. Visiting her machine, I had the same feeling my girlfriend had when visiting my room while we were studying - would start tidying up immediately. Temp files everywhere, .idx files completely unrelated to any tables - even in directories without tables, private document files in c:\, awful. My desk may undergo a declutter several times a year, but my disks are as neat as I can keep them.
