See... I didn't think that the cultural bias should get me that far astray. I got used to see scores of soccer matches in headlines, "Progress : Future 3:2" or "Railroad man : Proleter 2:0" (the latter being the losers from my city). Betting, with proportions and such, never took root; we can actually claim ignorance of the whole system. Lottery style betting on the whole cycle of the championship, with twelve matches on the ticket and three possible outcomes (won by hosts 1, guests 2, tie 0), now that was by state lottery, and that was (and still is) massively popular.
