Hi Hank,

Although I do not have any experience on the VFP OLE DB driver, I am quite interested in the result. Will you try to connect your VFP to it (without DSN) and let us know the result?

Ben

>A followup to the VFPOleDB story on Vista 64: Crystal XI (don't know about other versions), 32-bit, installed on Vista 64 does work when set to use a VFP database. Perhaps they have their own driver. Anyway, it works. Which is handy for us, as the Crystal framework class we use does a lot of automatic stuff for us, and giving it up would be at least a minor pain.

So Crystal is doing something differently. I did not try, from VFP, accessing the OleDB driver through a connectionless DSN (although we do it all the time hitting on SQL, so I guess I should give that a try also).
