Finer control of the setup of the print device is available; the last parameter passed to CreateDC(), lpInitData, could be a pointer to a DEVMODE structure defining how the device context is to be set up. The DEVMODE structure is moderately complex, and beyond the scope of this FAQ; for a detailed discussion of the structure, see the MSDN documentation on the DEVMODE structure in the Platform SDK docs. The buffer necessary to hold the DEVMODE structure could be created either using Christof Lange's STRUCT class, or my ClsHeap class, but you do have to know what all the possible elements of the structure are, and how to use them properly.
