Join the club. No, I don't let it bother me enough to hate it, but it's not much fun, either.

Bear in mind that by "around here" I mean near my house, which is 45-50 miles north of downtown Chicago. The traffic in the surrounding counties has gotten almost as bad as it is in the city as new development has moved further and further out. There are 8 million people in the Chicago metro area, only 3 million of them in the city itself.
