Goodness == % of world population that croaks 
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if by "decimate" they mean 10% remaining (i.e. 90% dead) rather than the correct 10% dead - most of the world seems to get that wrong. If so, according to the VTOTVSG, it's getting even better ;)
