Excuse my ignorance but everyone here knows of the US Thanksgiving - the native Americans helping the settlers, kids' school pageants, Pocahontas and all that. But b4 joining the UT I had no idea that Canada had one too.

Is there a story behind that or did the canucks just decide to follow the ham shanks, but have theirs earlier cos winter comes more quickly up there? My Canadian rellies have never mentioned it to me.
