I experience something similar to this on my computer, and I can duplicate this at anytime. It happens every time in the following situation for me.

My issue is a Java app running "before" the FPW 2.6 app is started. If I close the Java app, in a few seconds the FPW 2.6 app will appear. In my case, I simply am aware of this and do not start the Java app until I am finished witht he FPW 2.6 app.

I am not sure, but I think I did have to close the Java app, and reboot the computer after I closed the Java app, but I am not positive of this.
