Thank you for the heads up, Eric.
While learning LINQ TO SQL as part of my learing C#, I noted that the LINQ to xx was available, but that L2S seemed simpler, so being inherently lazy, I used it.
I must say that I have gotten much further much more quickly using L2S than I had while trying to use ADO.NET which suffers from terrible documentation and a weird IDE.
I'm accomplishing things with a few simple lines of simple L2S code that took paragraphs of arcane verbosity to do in ADO.NET.
From what I could tell, switching to LINQ TO xx would not be a big deal and I'll do that before beginning any large client projects, based on what I learned from your post.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
