Any program can leave stuff laying around. If the registry entries and files were created after install, cleanup becomes very complicated, if not impossible. However, Norton is notoriously bad about leaving things around.
>But are you sure you uninstalled it completely?
>Yes, the uninstaller removes Folders from Program Files, but leaves a lot of trash in System32 and registry (at least when I last try to use it - long time ago :-))
>I have to remove all manually so I can install other AV application (on my home computer it was easier to format the disk and re-install all from scratch). After that I NEVER try to use Norton Anti Virus.
