right, you didn't *SAY* anything about the answer you expected.

But would you agree, that you have mentioned "createobject("MyClass")", and that this is a single and native VFP command?
And would you also agree, that you have mentioned a classlib named "MyClass.vcx" and the words "class library instantiation" in the same sentence?

In VFP nothing like "class library instatiation" exists. So putting this all together, someone (at least Agnes and me) must assume that you have tried to instantiate all classes of a certain classlib using the name of the classlib (MyClass) as a parameter for the createobject() function.

With this assumption (you are right, this is definetly one) in mind, the rest of your postings don't make much sense.

And your terminology still makes me think you are somehow on the wrong track.

You can not reference to an object in your class library because class libraries don't contain objects. They contain classes. Once you have an instance (object) of that class, you can reference to that object, and in this case, your originally class library is irrelevant. And the problem is, that you mention "...my class library..." in every third sentence.

believe me, it's more tedious to me, because I have to translate everything from english to german and backwards.
My english is probably not good enough to follow this thread furthermore, but believe me, your comments still make someone think, that you misunderstood something.
