Using the first notebook, create the Ghost emergency boot disk (can be floppy or cd) that you will use to restore the image from the external drive to the 2nd notebook. No Ghost installation on the 2nd notebook is necessary. It will be installed though as a part of the image itself. When you read the instructions it will be clearer. Check the Symnantec website for any whitepapers or updates and especially on your notebook manufacturer and model numbers.

Windows 98 was running with copydisc but XP locks... That really makes me angry. If my pc's motherboard is broken I have to reinstall XP...
