Hi all -

I have a utility which generates a file and then needs to FTP it to a site.

This works fine when I run it from VFP or even as a stand-alone app. The problem comes in when I try to run it from the Task Scheduler. This job needs to be run every night. It goes through creating the file, but it hangs when it tries to send the file. I have tried this with using Rick's wwFTP as well as writing an FTP COM object in .NET. In either case, it hangs when doing the send.

Is there some kind of restriction in the Task Manager that keeps me from sending the file, or could it be a setting with my AV (McAfee)? I am having the same problem when I tested on my client's machine, and he is running Windows XP. I don't know what AV he is running (I know it is NOT McAfee).

Any one have any ideas as to why the FTP won't work in the Task Scheduler?

Thanks ~ Carsten
