When the merger of XM and Sirius satellite radio was completed a couple of weeks ago, I started receiving (most) Sirius stations in addition to the XM ones I already had. One of the new ones is a Grateful Dead channel. Recorded songs, lots of concerts, guest DJs -- all things Grateful Dead, 24/7. Very cool.

Even better, there is a Springsteen channel with a similar format. Driving home after dropping Emily off just now, they played "State Trooper" and "The Rising" back to back, sandwiched around an announcement that Bill Bradley will be the guest DJ tomorrow.

The girls think this is too much of a good thing, but what do they know?
