I see now. Thank you. The biggest misunderstanding on my part was that I thought you can't run VFP (or any other Windows application) without have something first installed in the registry. I realized that when you run the VFP9.EXE on the computer where VFP was never installed something is maybe automatically set in the registry (or maybe not). The only thing I noticed on my wife's computer after I ran VFP 9 was the folder \Visual FoxPro Project\ in her documents. So I guess VFP9 automatically created this folder.
