My dad was an airline pilot and owned a few planes, I soloed in his 172 and got my instrument in his Commander 114 (back in 1974). Kids and other things have kept me from flying in a left front seat since late 80's.

You are a pilot too, now I really regret you had to move away. Yes, there is humidity but not quite as much as Austin. Fortunately the RV has lots of excess power so high density is rarely a problem for me; not that I don't pay attention to it. Besides I am used to flying from just over 3000 feet so this 450 foot elevation is nice.
