I'm using the example in VFP9 Solution Samples: Binding to Windows Message Events: File/Folder Shell Events to create an app that waits for a specific file to be written to a folder before continuing.

When I open Windows Explorer and create a file I get 2 messages Updated file/directory and Created file/directory.

If I create a file any other way (Word, Foxpro, etc.) I only get the Updated file/directory message.

Same thing for Delete and Rename. I though I had done something wrong, but I ran the VFP9 Solution Samples some more and saw the same results there. Is there a way to get the additional Created, Deleted, Rename messages outside the use of the Windows Explorer?
