>So..............I have a new client with a vfp app. The executable was built in January, 2006. It's needs to be enhanced. No source code. One option is refox. What do you think? Is refox worth buying and trying? If not, any other suggestions?

Yes, Refox can decompile the application in its original state. The main question is, as Craig states, does the client have the rights to the source code? I have been involved in some of these "battles" about intellectual properties, or does the original contract specifies that the client has the rights to the source code, or at what point in the agreement does the client have the rights to the code (ie at anytime or at the time the programmer deems the application finished). The question is mostly why doesn't you client have the source code?
