Is there a way to use the import command or something else to convert a text file to a dbf ?

My dillemma is this:

I want to allow the end user to :

1. Import all of the types of files supported by the
IMPORT command as well as a delimited text file

2. I will then fill a list box with the contents of the first
row ( or record ) which the user must match with the captions
of some of the fields in a table from my application.

3. The next step of this wizard will ask the user to define
some defaults for other info that will make up the other
fields of the table.

4. The idea here is to allow flexible Batch adding of
records for this table from a supported and common type
of file.
