Thanks, that improves my productivity about 100% in VC++. It might be doing some parts of the compiling behind the scenes while editing to speed the final compile phase.

I guess that says it's really doing a whole lot of stuff in the idle time while waiting for keystrokes in the editor. Pretty impressive maybe I'll switch all my app development from VFP to VC. tongue firmly in cheek
