See if you can find the May/June issue of the MSDN News. There is an article on the Speech SDK in there. It looked quite useable from VFP and I was going to get the SDK till I saw it was such a huge download, I suppose I should check to see if it's on one of the MSDN CDs I opted to not get quarterly. There are some references to callback routines which aren't doable from VFP but you could but a light C++ wrapper around it. The C++ could make method calls back to a VFP COM object.
