The readme file explained more on what the program was for than explaining how to use it (which is probably a no brainer to some). Could you clarify how to utilize this tool?

Just kidding.
try this in command window:
CLOSE ALL
CLEAR ALL
OPEN YourDatabase EXCLUSIVE
MODIFY VIEW TheNameOfTheView
Then click on SQL button in the toolbar.

BTW using Views was/is very helpful when you need to get just a portion of the records.
