I would make a shortcutmenu for the grdEdit in the gridEdit.rightclick() - activate a shortcut menu with all the C&P e.s.o. functionality.

Unfortunately the default keycombinations CTRL+ do indeed not work in this case, but users get airly quickly used to the rightclick since it is also implented in lots of other (MS) Office applications.
