Actually, you can developed fully managed applications with C++. But you can also create Win32-based apps. These are what are called "unmanaged"
>Sure, tons of them. But I bet there aren't many being written for .NET. Microsoft made it abundantly clear from the beginning that C# was the preferred C dialect for .NET. They even tagged C++.NET code with the somewhat insulting phrase "unmanaged code."
