We had a procession up here for the latest 3 Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan. Highway 401 (The MacDonald Cartier) lately renamed the 'Highway of Heroes' was the route into Toronto. I was amazed how many people turned out.

If you go to Google Earth and type in "43 46 46.31, -79 15 52.77", you'll see where I was (approximately) when they came through. It was quite something. There are more decent people around than we sometimes are willing to admit.
