I was trying to defend a position of using UNSAFE code, because I understood as everyone else were against it, and the C# book I read showed a sample of using it. That's why.

But you indeed right in your statement.

I still learned something on the topic I was not thinking before, so in this regard it's helpful to me.

I asked YOU why you are arguing a position for using it when 1) you have never used it, 2) you are regurgitating someone elses reasons which may or may not be valid, and 3) you keep holding on to the position even when you don't have a valid reason to do so.
