Okay, but then I have it in the path too, then that too does not help. Frankly, I am confused by all this. I think I am getting you somewhat in my limited sense, that if I want to use NEWOBJECT() I do not need to have the vcx in SET CLASSLIB but do need the folder in the SET PATH. But if I have both set then why does it not like me specifying just the vcx name but expects me to specify the fullpath. I am sorry but this is beyond me.
