This seems to be related to everywhere. In Windows in general, I see that all backgrounds from all applications are now white. This is where the problem is. While adjusting some settings in the resolution last night, something might have been triggered forcing that change. I rebooted and reselected the resolution and some settings. I just cannot get the default mode back.
