When I lived in Houston, there was a billboard on the SW Freeway for a Chinese restaurant called 'Fungi's'. Unfortunately, they'd decided to use an 'oriental' font for the name. This made the apostrophe fairly large and low set within the name. I always read it as 'Fungus'.
