For example just "read" your original expression in Turkish not in "math".. I'm not sure how it translates into Turkish but in English it is:

( negative two ) squared && parenthesis added for emphasis.

The original problem could have been written as

+2^2

because a signless number is positive.. in this case you take positive 2 and square it... you don't take 2 and square it and then "positive" the result.
