Really. I expect major stores might take them, not sure about smaller shops and pubs etc . So if Icelandic banks had invested their disappearing money in Madoff would those two negatives have made a positive so they would get their money back.

Hang on. One of my traps has just caught a rat. That'll do for lunch.

My German relatives are coming over just after Christmas from Nuremburg. They where worrying about spending the money but I've told them they will spend a lot less here now than if they stayed at home.
