There was some contact there, apparently involving Rahm Emanuel. Obama and his staff insist they did nothing more than give some replacement suggestions to Blagojevich's staff. They have prepared a report they were going to release earlier this week, and are now holding until week at Patrick Fitzgerald's request. At that point this nothing should blow over.
