I just want you please ask a high school or primary school math. teacher that:

is 5-2^2=-2^2+5 ?

This is just a simple math. rule... ;)

As I see it the - in -2 is NOT an operation at all but is part of the operand of -2 therefore if you square the value of -2 you get 4. The - sign does not mean -1 * 2 it means teh operand of -2 which is not an operation.
