>The Opel Astra is now sold as the (GM) Saturn Astra (same car, just added American safety features like the bumper, etc and the Saturn logo instead of the Opel). I just bought one and I love it. I was deciding between the Astra, Honda Fit, Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris, and Suzuki SX4.
Others are not selling there but Yaris is smaller than Astra. Astra is eqv. of Corolla.
>The only things I miss are the cup holders in the right place and the many compartments that many American cars have. The Saturn ION, while not a popular car, had many compartments. Women love compartments in cars to put things in and stay organized... :o)
My car is small too but has cup holders and arm holders and even has a fridge at glove compartment... B-)
I see why american car factories in crisis. Germans love german cars, italians love italian cars but americans don't love american cars. American car firms should build smaller engines and have to work with diesel engines.
Turkish car factories stopped production at this week. It will hard to next a few years... :(

>>Hey! I know Opel is a GM brand but I didn't know it is selling at USA. Astra is a good car for a family. Isn't that small for an american? :)
