It isn't the performance monster the Corvettes I had in my heyday were but it has plenty of pep. Gets 30 miles a gallon like a metronome, and that's mostly local driving. Everything about it is solid and well thought out. Would I buy another one or recommend it? You betcha.

Jetta is producing at Mexico. Golf is producing at Germany. Golf is better because of that.

I would recommend you another car. Best German is Mercedes (excluded A and B series. My cousin works at Mercedes and he said that "We don't call A and B as Mercedes"). Everyone know that... ;)
